Team GB's Gymnast Elissa Downie Falls on Neck during Floor Qualification in Rio
Another injury happened on the gymnastics floor today (August 7) during the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.
Gymnast Elissa Downie, from Team Great Britain, was performing her floor routine when she landed on her neck after performing a pirouette. Elissa stood on the corner, trying to recover.
However, after being checked out by doctors and medics on site, the 16-year-old athlete returned to qualify for the vault.
