Cassadee Pope Dishes On Which 'Summer' EP Song She Relates To The Most

The 26-year-old country singer chatted with the glossy about her new Summer EP, her #1 hit with Chris Young and more. Check it:

On “Think Of You” with Chris Young: “I heard the demo and it was pretty immediate…[His choosing me] was based off my voice, which is awesome and how it should be, but you never know…He’s had so many songs go to No. 1 and I haven’t. I’m used to keeping track of all the radio stations that add the song and making sure I text everybody but I couldn’t keep up with it. He’s like ‘I don’t say thank you. I don’t announce it until its official.’”

On one of the stand outs of her new EP: “I heard ['Kisses at Airports'] a week before and I swapped out a song for that. It takes a lot for me to cry when I hear a song, and I cried the first time I heard it. I’m in airports half of my life so I see military come and go,she says. I see kids just welcoming their families. I know the feeling when I leave somebody I love.”

On her next album: “I have this track list all ready to go. Its just a matter of when its crunch time.”
