Table Tennis Player Lily Zhang Opens Up About Women's Singles Loss at Rio Olympics

Lily Zhang stays focused while playing during round 3 of the Women’s Singles Table Tennis at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games at Riocentro – Pavilion 3 on Tuesday (August 8) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 20-year-old table tennis player sadly lost out to Hyowon Suh of Korea.

“Lost to South Korea in Women’s Singles… Wasn’t the result I had hoped for but I’m still proud to have made it to the 3rd round and to have represented my country as best as I could in the Olympic Games!” Lily later wrote on Facebook. “Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful support I’ve received over the past few days – it’s truly such a warm and comforting feeling knowing so many people have my back. Now it’s time to regroup and fight in teams! Let’s go Team USA! ?#?Rio2016?”
