Jenna Coleman's Friends Might Disown Her If She Called Them A 'Girl Squad'
Jenna Coleman takes over the October 2016 cover of British Glamour, out on news stands on Thursday, September 8th.
The 30-year-old British actress chatted with the glossy about becoming Queen Victoria for ITV’s new series, her time on Doctor Who and what she thinks about the term ‘girl squad’. Check it:
On Queen Victoria: “She’s this young, vibrant girl who’s full of exuberance and energy and doesn’t really hide it. I find her fascinating. You couldn’t tame her. She’s passionate and temperamental. She was a revelation to me.”
On Doctor Who: “When my episode began, Karen (Gillan) was still there, and while I was there Matt (Smith) left and Peter (Capaldi) started. You know it’s yours for a little moment in time and then it moves on without you, so I was prepared for that. You do get really attached though, because of the friendships you make.”
On the term ‘girl squad’: “If I was to call my friends my ‘girl squad’ they might disown me.”
