Amandla Stenberg Starts Shooting 'Everything Everything' in Vancouver

Amandla Stenberg wraps a camouflage jacket around her body while filming for her new movie, Everything Everything, on Friday (September 8) in Vancouver, Canada.

The 17-year-old actress and activist stars opposite Nick Robinson in the film, based on the book of the same name by Nicola Yoon.

Everything Everything centers on Maddy (Stenberg), a teen who has severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), a rare disease that causes her to be allergic to practically everything.

She has spent 17 years hiding out in her home, only seeing her mother and her nurse, Carla. But when a boy named Olly (Robinson) moves in next door, Maddy begins to fall in love.
