Cailee Rae Talks Music & Boyfriend Jack Dytrych With 'NKD' Mag

Cailee Rae looks super chill in this feature for the Fall 2016 issue of NKD magazine.

The St. Louis-based singer opened up to the glossy about her music, her love life, and more. Check it:

On how she got started with music: “I started writing for school projects. If I had an assignment about planets and science, I would write a song about it. So music just kind of became what I did. After I got home from school, I would do that and my mom would yell at me and say I had to do my homework.”

On how social media shot her to fame: “All of a sudden, my thing was on the popular page and I was like what the heck? This is crazy. I do covers not because I want to gain fans. I honestly do covers because I get really inspired by other music, and I think it’s important for me as an artist to show what I connect to.”

On her boyfriend Jack Dytrych: “He looks through my phone sometimes and sees pages and pages of the same video because I did a million takes of something. It’s funny because people listen to them and think every one sounds the same, but they’re not! One note is different, I swear.”
