Supergirl's Melissa Benoist Sends Girl Power Vibes to Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez!

Melissa Benoist stops to smile for a photo with an excited fan as she heads inside her hotel on Monday (October 17) in Vancouver, Canada.

The 28-year-old actress carried her cute dog Otis in her arms.

Last week, Melissa started filming for the upcoming DC crossover episode for The CW along with cast members from Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow.

Season two of Supergirl premiered earlier this month, and Melissa took to Twitter before the second episode to give her series as well as Gina Rodriguez‘s Jane the Virgin some love!

“Girl power on @TheCW tonight … you guys should watch @TheCWSupergirl and @CWJaneTheVirgin @HereIsGina,” she wrote along with some girl-themed emojis.
