Simone Biles to Present Scholarships at THR's Women in Entertainment Breakfast

Simone Biles will be helping hand out university scholarships to students at the upcoming THR Women in Entertainment Breakfast.

The 19-year-old Olympic gymnast will join Emma Stone to honor 16 girls who are currently in the Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program.

They will each receive a $10,000 scholarship to attend the university of her choice, with two girls receiving a full-ride scholarship each worth more than $200,000 to attend Loyola Marymount University.

“We are thrilled to have two of the most accomplished young women of today, Simone Biles and Emma Stone, presenting the Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program scholarships. Each is a shining example of achievement in her respective field,” Janice Min, president and chief creative officer of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, said. “It is a privilege to have the support of so many in the Hollywood community as participants and donors, people who are invested in sending girls to college who otherwise might not attend.”

The scholarships will be presented during The Hollywood Reporter‘s 2016 Women in Entertainment Breakfast on December 7 in Los Angeles.
