Girl Meets World's Cheryl Texiera Writes Touching Letter to #SaveGMW

We’re still anxiously waiting in the wings as the Disney Channel decides whether or not to give Girl Meets World a fourth season.

Several of the show’s stars, including Rowan Blanchard and August Maturo, have already made their pleas to fans to help renew the show.

Now, Cheryl Texiera, who plays Maya’s (Sabrina Carpenter) mom, has written a touching letter, urging the network to make more episodes.

“Dear Disney, I’ve had the pleasure of playing Katy Hart in Girl Meets World for the better part of 2 1/2 years,” Cherly wrote. “Something that has stood out to me every time I walked on set – or wrapped an episode – was the camaraderie of not just the cast, but the cast, crew, writers, producers, wardrobe, hair, & make-up – and perhaps most impressively, our fans.”

She continued, “This show is about family – it’s about friends – it’s an honest coming of age tale that needs to be told. Especially in today’s market.”

“So this is my personal plea to #SaveGMW and give #GirlMeetsWorldSeason4,” Cheryl added.
