Lauren Jauregui, Yara Shahidi, & More Stars React to Dakota Access Pipeline Shutdown
The decision to halt construction on the Dakota Access Pipeline has many people celebrating and thanking the brave protesters who fought hard for this outcome.
Stars like Lauren Jauregui, Yara Shahidi, Rowan Blanchard, Shailene Woodley, Camila Cabello, Kendrick Sampson, Chrissie Fit, and Emily Robinson all took to social media after news broke that the Army Corps of Engineers denied further construction on the site, which jeopardizes the drinking water of the residents living there.
An “environmental impact statement” will follow to investigate “possible alternate routes,” according to a statement released by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.
