Actress and activist Yara Shahidi is having a really amazing year!
She just took to Instagram to post a picture of her with non other than the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama’s, arm wrapped around her.
The 16-year-old Black-ish actress captioned the photo simply with the gold crown emoji (aka calling her, her “queen”). The smile on Yara’s face looks like she might die of happiness, it’s so sweet.
The two came together, along with Rowan Blanchard, in October to discuss issues that affect girls around the world. And, clearly, Yara wanted to share the memory today.
