Camila Cabello Hinted at Fifth Harmony Exit Over a Year Ago

Camila Cabello may have had her eye on the door long before she actually left Fifth Harmony.

The 19-year-old singer once opened up about whether she thought the group would eventually go their separate ways.

“Honestly, I think we all do,” Camila told Latina back in September 2015. “We’d be lying if we all said this is a picture-perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music-video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it’s harder.”

She also said, “The cool part is that we allow one another to do our own thing within this thing. I think it’s healthy because if not, personally, I would go insane.”

The rest of 5H revealed in their latest statement that they had been trying to talk to Camila about the future of the group for over a year and a half, but she “refused.”
