Lauren Jauregui Speaks Up About President Trump Signing Off on Dakota Access Pipeline

JJJ so wishes we were there with Lauren Jauregui and Kendrick Sampson last night as they protested and spread the word out about the Dakota Access Pipeline.

If you haven’t heard, President Donald Trump signed off on continuing the building of the Keystone and Dakota Access Pipeline, which stretches across sacred lands of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

“FLOOD THEM PHONELINES! If you wanna keep this place remotely a democracy we NEED TO MAKE SURE WERE HEARD. And if we aren’t heard…this is a very very scary time for all of us,” Lauren writes after sharing Kendrick‘s own Instagram about the situation.

While the pipeline’s official website says that ‘The Dakota Access Pipeline does not cross Standing Rock Sioux reservation land’ — it does!
