Nina Dobrev Announces Return to 'Vampire Diaries' For Series Finale!

It’s official – Nina Dobrev is back!

The 28-year-old actress will be returning for The Vampire Diaries series finale this Spring, she announced on Instagram.

“I know it’s Thursday, but this is not a TBT. #BackOnSet #TVDForever,” Nina captioned a photo of her finale script, which you can see below.

After leaving at the end of season six, executive producer Julie Plec revealed that Nina had made a promise to her about coming back.

The cast is currently in Atlanta filming the final episode, which is titled “I Was Feeling Epic.”

Don’t forget – The Vampire Diaries series finale airs Friday, March 10 @ 8PM on The CW.
