Vanessa Marano Totally Predicted 'Gilmore Girls' Famous Last Four Words

Right now, Vanessa Marano is probably gloating…and we don’t blame her.

Before returning to star in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life as April Nardini, all the cast members were trying to predict the famous final four words of the hit series — and Vanessa totally WON!

In her original guess, Vanessa predicted that they would be: “Mom, I’m pregnant, psych.” The final words turned out to be an exchange between Rory and Lorelai, but the ‘psych’ was definitely not there at all.

“I was sitting there watching with my little sister [Laura]. She was like, ‘I cannot believe that you guessed it,” Vanessa shared with THR. “I was like, ‘I didn’t do it on purpose. It was a joke!’ I didn’t think they’d really do it.”

And like the fans of the show, Vanessa definitely wants more.

“Now I’m upset because it’s a cliffhanger. It was supposed to be closure,” she shares. “Now I want more, which I wouldn’t be mad if there was more, I would be ecstatic if there was more, so it was brilliant on [creator Amy Sherman-Palladino's] part.”
