Did Barry Save Iris' Life on 'The Flash' Last Night?

Did you watch last night’s episode of The Flash?

If you didn’t, warning: SPOILERS AHEAD! Don’t read if you don’t want to know!

If you did, can we chat about how Iris (Candice Patton) nearly lost her life from one of Julian’s (Tom Felton) villain experiments?

Here’s what did happen:

Clive Yorkin, the villain that Julian created when he was Doctor Alchemy, has the ability to literally disintegrate his foes by causing them to rapidly decompose at far quicker than the normal rate, and his latest victim is Iris.

He invited himself into Barry and Iris’ place, touching her arm and almost sent her to her demise…until Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) using her frosty powers to freeze her arm where Clive touched it, preventing it from his powers going anywhere else but there.

Obviously, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) are going after Clive, because his next target is a private investigator who just happens to be on a train.

Clive uses his powers to destroy some sort of structure that causes debris to fall on the tracks; and the only solution? For Barry to vibrate a full train so fast is phases through it all. This also leaves him so weak, so it’s up to Wally to try and inject Clive with his blood to by phasing through him.

This is what saves Iris.

In the end, Iris puts her full trust back in Barry, telling him: “I love and trust you, Barry Allen, The Flash. I love all of you, and I always will.”
