In the video, Eva bravely opens up about her rape when she was 16.

“It took a lot of courage and a lot of bravery to post this video. I’ve been battling this since I was 16. But to get to share something so powerful and spread a message that this IS going on and IS real is important,” she wrote on Twitter.

Eva adds, “It’s scary sharing something people don’t know how to handle, but I hope you spread the message.”
