Will We Ever See Katie Cassidy on 'Arrow' Again? Showrunners Weigh In

Remember when we heard the big news that Katie Cassidy would be a series regular across ALL of the DC shows on The CW? Well, it looks like that’s changed.

The actress, who portrayed Laurel Lance on flagship show Arrow, might not be returning to the DC Universe for a while.

“We have an idea for how to see her again, but we haven’t made a deal with her yet,” producer Marc Guggenheim shared at a recent press event.

“She’s not a series regular anymore, so we have to make a contract with her and she’s got to be available, and we haven’t had those conversations,” he confirmed.

So does that mean Laurel, and even her alter egos Black Siren/Canary, are gone for good? Not yet.

“We do have an idea [how to bring her back]. We know exactly what we do want to do,” he added.

It would be so wrong not to have her back!
