Ed Sheeran's Grandmother Nancy Mulligan Hears The Song Written About Her For the First Time

Ed Sheeran wrote a song about each of his grandparents on his new album Divide and one of them, Nancy Mulligan, is hearing it for the very first time.

In a new interview with RTE, Nancy opens up about Ed and his musical talents before taking a listen to the track on his new album.

“It was fine,” she says in the video, with some tears in her eyes while listening. “As long as I’m not the one playing it. (laughs)”

Ed shared about the track before, “They wore borrowed clothes to get married and had this sort of Romeo and Juliet romance which is like the most romantic thing.”
