Riverdale's KJ Apa is A Bughead Shipper!

Almost everyone is loving Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones as a couple on Riverdale…even Archie!

KJ Apa opened up about why the Bughead relationship works for the show.

“I think they genuinely like each other and I think they are finding something with each other that they can latch onto,” KJ shared in a new interview…however, expect Archie to get a little bit jealous about it.

“As Archie, I think he wants what he can’t have and it’s kind of a weird thing because they totally switched on who likes who,” he adds. “I think he really does show that he likes Betty, but the whole ironic triangle thing is coming back and you’ll really see it coming in effect soon.”

In reality though, KJ is rooting for Bughead. “I think Lili and Cole have a lot of good chemistry that you can see on screen and I think it works very well for their characters.”

So, does that mean we should give up on Archie and Betty?

“I think you should have some hope. I can’t hint why, but you should have hope.”
