Rupert Grint Shouldn't Be Disappointed About Being Sorted Into Hufflepuff & Here's Why

Ron Weasley is a Gryffindor, so does that mean Rupert Grint should be to?

After taking the Pottermore quiz, Rupert was actually revealed to be in the Hufflepuff House — something that he’s a little disappointed in.

But why? Why is he disappointed by that?

Hufflepuffs are kind of awesome people. We mean, they have Cedric Diggory, and Hannah Abbott and let’s not forget about the amazing Tonks.

They even have a claim to fame with Newt Scamander — you know, that guy who wrote “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them“. (He even got a movie about it, too.)

Even Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling loves Hufflepuff.

“There comes a point in the book where each house has a chance to rise up to a certain challenge,” she once said in an interview just before the final book came out. “The Slytherins decided they’d rather not play, the Ravenclaws some play, some won’t, but the Hufflepuffs stay to fight.”

She continues, “The Gryffindors compromised of lots of full hearty and show off people. The Hufflepuffs stayed for a different reason. They didn’t want to show off, they weren’t being reckless, that’s the essence of Hufflepuff.”

Jo added, “My daughter Jessica said to me recently, who wasn’t sorted into Hufflepuff, ‘I think we should all want to be Hufflepuffs.’ I can only say to you, I would not be disappointed at all to be in Hufflepuff. I’m a little upset anyone does feel that way.”

See, even Jo wants to be in Hufflepuff! So, stop being disappointed Rupert.
