Selena Gomez may be taking a little page out of BFF Taylor Swift‘s book.

The “Revival” singer is looking to trademark her own name, according to TMZ.

Selena has apparently “filed legal docs asking for the right to market jewelry” and the documents would also block anyone else from performing as Selena Gomez during a live TV/movie appearance or distribute music.

Selena‘s BFF Taylor also trademarked her name, as well as several lyrics from her 1989 album.
