'Liv & Maddie' Cast Write Touching Goodbyes For Series Finale

It’s hard saying goodbye to a show that you’ve spent years with — especially when that show is Liv and Maddie.

The cast — including Dove Cameron, Joey Bragg, Jessica Marie Garcia and more — have all taken to social media to say goodbye to the show.

Warning, all of their goodbyes will probably break your heart, too.

If you missed it, be sure to read what showrunners John D. Beck and Ron Hart first thought of their main cast while auditioning them.

As we near our end later today, I want to tip my hat to our beginning. This is Bits & Pieces, the show that made us a family. For two years prior to this, it was just me, @herrdirektor, @johndbeck & @ronhart44 in search of a show. Multiple concepts. Countless drafts. TWO YEARS. Not a clue if we'd ever get something on the air. Eventually the four of us grew into 100+ and we got to make an iconic DC show with the loveliest and happiest cast & crew in the business. It doesn't always happen that way — ok, it rarely happens that way — and I've been doing this long enough to know how fortunate I am. A big thank you to everyone at the @disneychannel, to our incredible cast and our hardworking crew. It was actually a pleasure to go to work everyday. To my partners in crime — Andy, Ron & John — if I had to spend so many years in a foxhole, I'm glad it was with you. I think we done good. Finally, to our fans…your devotion to this show has been our greatest reward. Thanks for being part of our community and for sending us constant love. I hope you enjoy this finale. It's my very favorite episode, and it was crafted with an enormous amount of care for our fans. I find it emotionally satisfying in every way. We've been talking about "the end" for months now, but the truth is…this show marks the beginning. The beginning of lifelong friendships. The beginning of incredible careers for many, both in front of and behind the camera. It's the first time we worked together, but certainly not the last. You are all etched into my heart, as is this show, and today I am filled with pride and gratitude. xoxo #livandmaddie #endarooney
