�13 Reasons Why� Stars Want You To Pay Attention To The Big Issues

Katherine Langford and Dylan Minnette are just one day away from their new Netflix show making its debut.

The stars of 13 Reasons Why want you to pay attention to the big issues of the show — the high school hierarchy, the rumors, and the consequences.

“Yes, it’s a piece of entertainment – I don’t think it’s a PSA at all – but I do hope it starts dialogue about issues we don’t talk openly about,” Katherine shared in a new interview.

She adds, “I hope when people watch it maybe it will inspire them to kind of think more about what they are doing to the people around them.”

“I think the goal is … that the show brings awareness,” Dylan shared. “I hope people watching can sit down and talk about how they can change their lives, how they can be better, how they can benefit others. I don’t want to be famous from this, I just want to make people talk.”

13 Reasons Why debuts on Friday, March 31st on Netflix.
