Will Normani Kordei & Val Chmerkovskiy Dance to a Fifth Harmony Song Next Week on 'DWTS'?

Fifth Harmony‘s Normani Kordei and partner Val Chmerkovskiy hit a major milestone on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars. The pair received the highest score of the night with 34 points. The huge victory definitely made traveling around the world to perform with 5H, while rehearsing for the competition, well worth it.

Right before they jumped on a plane to the Philippines to rejoin the girl group on tour, we spoke to #TeamValMani backstage at DWTS about how the rest of Fifth Harmony have been supporting the singer during her time on the show and whether or not 5H will play a role in her routine next week.

Next week’s DWTS theme is the stars’ “Most Memorable Year,” so we had to ask, will the pair’s routine be a nod to Fifth Harmony or perhaps when the girls were on The X-Factor?

“You gotta tune in,” Val was quick to reply.

“Yeah, you’ve gotta stay tuned,” Normani smiled. “It’s super special though. It means a lot to me.”

We had to press. Can we possibly expect a routine to a Fifth Harmony song next week?!

“You gotta tune in,” was all he pair would give us. Fair enough!

Normani also opened up about getting the highest score on Monday night after another whirlwind week of traveling across the globe, this time to China.

“Honestly, it meant the world just because we learned this routine on a carpet on the other side of the world, no table,” the singer revealed. “It all came together honestly the day before. Which was wild. I prayed to God right before the music even started. I’m so grateful. I was nervous as hell.”
