Felicity and Oliver’s break up has never really been explained on Arrow…at least not yet.
When Arrow returned for it’s fourth season, the couple seemed to have called things off for good and fans figured out it was because of a mountain of trust issues. But is it, and when will we find out?
During an interview with TVLine, EP Marc Guggenheim revealed all — we’ll find out some big things in an upcoming episode called “Underneath.”
“They never really had a full-on discussion or exploration of why that breakup happened. Felicity just sort of reached her breaking point and walked out the door.”
“This is definitely an examination of the state of their breakup. It comes out of the events of 519 ['Dangerous Liaisons'] and, quite frankly, all the other episodes that led up to it,” Marc added. “Something happens in 519 that really tees up this conversation.”
