All the 'Pretty Little Liars' Families Are Connected & It's Kind of Crazy

As the series finale of Pretty Little Liars approaches, things are getting pretty complicated and we’re not going to lie – it’s a little bit confusing!

Over the past seven seasons, we’re learned a lot about the families in Rosewood and they’re getting increasingly intertwined.

Spoiler Alert - we’re going to break down the DiLaurentis, Hastings and Drake families for you!

As for the DiLaurentis family – Jessica and Kenneth are parents to Alison, but that’s it! While Jason is Jessica’s son, his father is Peter Hastings.

Meanwhile, Alison’s transgender sister Charlotte, is actually the daughter of Jessica’s twin sister Mary Drake. And in a huge shocker, Mary is also Spencer Hastings mother.

Spencer was raised by Peter and Veronica Hastings with their biological daughter Melissa.

So this whole crazy situation means that Melissa and Jason are half-siblings in addition to Jason and Ali being half-siblings. This also means Spencer and Charlotte are sisters and cousins with Ali and Jason.

Confusing, right!? We can’t wait to see how this all comes together.
