Bella Thorne Reveals Why Dating Is So Hard For Her

We almost didn’t recognize Bella Thorne in her new shoot for Harper’s Bazaar!

The 19-year-old actress opened up to the mag about dating in the public eye, learning with dyslexia and helping others through social media. Check it:

On how her personal life is twisted by the media: “Even if I’m not dating somebody, even if we’re just seen hanging out, he must be my boyfriend and we’re moving in and holy s**t we’re getting married…I want to go ice skating and I want to ride dirt bikes or do something dope as a date, but I can’t. Because if I step outside, he’s my boyfriend all of a sudden. So it’s like, ‘Oh f**k, well, we can only go to your house or mine, we can’t leave the house.’”

On dealing with dyslexia growing up: “Nobody ever taught me. I just felt so f**king stupid. It was really hard for a long time because I was always told I was the stupid girl…I want to learn stuff that I should know. Do you know how long it took me to really realize how to add tip on a bill? A crazy amount of time to get 20 f**king percent. That always made me feel like I was at a disadvantage and it still kinda does a little bit.”

On using social media to help others: “The world needs more honesty. I’ve lied my whole life about who I am and who I’m trying to be, so now, I like to keep it real. I have problems like every person, so if I can help somebody else then that’s f**king dope…I want to use social media to spread goodness. Teens are all going through different shit and nobody talks to each other about it. So if somebody could just be that first person to lend their hand, then other people will follow.”
