Nia Sioux is the latest Dance Moms star to head into music — and her new song is so good!

“This song has a great vibe to it in addition to its empowerment message to girls,” Nia tells us about the track. “The lyrics encourage girls to make their own rules and to not be shy about dancing freely.”

She adds, “I love the bold statement that it is ok for girls to have the freedom to make the first move if they see a boy they like.”

Nia also told us that music was a really natural thing for her to do.

“I have always loved music! As a dancer I have always appreciated music, so it was pretty natural for me to feel that connection,” she shares.

“Although I am now more comfortable with singing, at first I was really nervous. The recording studio is a safe haven for me and I love having the freedom to explore my vocal range.”
