Sophie Turner Did Not Use a Racial Slur in That Video - Read Her Statement

If you saw that video of Sophie Turner floating around social media today, please note that she is NOT using a racial slur in it, as some people are suggesting.

The 21-year-old Game of Thrones actress did use some explicit language, but she did not say anything derogatory, which she has been accused of.

DJ and fitness guru Brendan Fallis posted a video of him in the gym with Sophie and her boyfriend Joe Jonas. When he points the camera on her, she says, “What’s up motherf—ers.” People thought she said a racial slur though.

“I used the word ‘motherf*ckers’ in a recent video posted in an Instagram story and not a hateful racial slur that has been suggested,” Sophie told JustJaredJr.com in a statement.

“I am incredibly upset that anyone would think otherwise, and I want to make it clear that I would never use such an abhorrent word,” she added.
