Shailene Woodley Thinks We Should All Listen to This Throwback Song

It’s no secret that Big Little Lies actress Shailene Woodley is concerned about what’s going on in our world right now. She has been a vocal supporter of the fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline, and she frequently speaks out at rallies and events.

She also uses her prominent platform to speak out on social media, and now, she’s suggesting a little musical education for her fans.

“‘where is the love’ just came on the radio,” Shailene tweeted today, referring to the popular 2003 Black Eyed Peas song, “it’s time we listen to this on repeat. and then answer their question, and be the love.”

It’s definitely a powerful song, with lyrics like: “People killin’, people dyin’/
Children hurt and you hear them cryin’/Can you practice what you preach?/Or would you turn the other cheek?”

Her followers are loving the throwback, agreeing that it’s an amazing song — with an even better message.
