'Riverdale's Ashleigh Murray Keeps Mum on Sabrina Spellman's Arrival For Season Finale

Tonight’s the night — the season finale of Riverdale airs tonight and just like all the fans, the stars are ready!

JJJ met up with Ashleigh Murray, who plays Josie McCoy, for five fast questions about the season finale and what everyone can expect to see.

When we asked her to describe the episode in just three words, it was simple: “Fire and ice.”

Intriguing!

Ashleigh also shared her favorite things about the set and whether Josie would ever warm up to Archie.

JJJ: What can we expect from Josie in the finale? What can you tease?
AM:
Josie teams up with Veronica and Archie for a musical set.

JJJ: When did you find out about Jason’s killer and what was your reaction? Who did you originally suspect?
AM:
I found out about Jason’s killer my first day back to set this year [after hiatus]. I freaked and couldn’t believe it. I thought it was definitely Hal Cooper.

JJJ: Has Josie warmed up to Archie at all? Do you think we’ll see them be friends at some point in the future?
AM:
Josie is warmer, but they’re not BFFs. She is beginning to respect him as an artist. Who knows what could happen down the line…

JJJ: There’s lots of talk about Sabrina the Teenage Witch possible showing up. Would you like to see that happen?
AM:
There are so many characters in the Archie universe that anyone showing up could be cool. I couldn’t pick an actress off the top of my head, though. I think I’d need a thorough character description from Roberto first – I know she wouldn’t be magical like the original.

JJJ: What was your favorite memory from shooting season one?
AM:
The day we had a grilled cheese truck on set.

Riverdale airs TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
