The Riverdale actors sat down with Teen Vogue for a match that can only be described as a compliment battle.

Cole, 24, and KJ, 19, sat across from each other at a table, cell phones in hand, and proceeded to dramatically read adoring tweets to each other.

Cole reads KJ‘s fan tweets and KJ reads Cole‘s.

“I just want to tell you, bro, you are my Riverdale muse,” KJ tells Cole, as he looks longingly into his eyes.

To which Cole replies, “Notice me, and I will give you free pizza forever, daddy.”

The two try — and honorably fail — to keep a straight face the entire time.
