Zac Efron Signs On for New Movie Playing Famous Serial Killer

Zac Efron has signed on to play world famous serial killer Ted Bundy in a new movie.

The 29-year-old actor will star in the upcoming film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, to be directed by filmmaker Joe Berlinger, THR reports. The script reportedly takes place from the perspective of Elizabeth Kloepfer, Ted Bundy‘s longtime girlfriend who ended up turning him into the police. No additional casting has been revealed.

This film will surely be a departure from Zac‘s latest film, Baywatch, which will hit theaters on May 25.
