Alex & Sierra Are Writing More Music During Their Downtime

Alex & Sierra wrapped up their tour just a few months ago — so what have they been up to since then?

Taking some needed time off!

The musical duo shared an update on their social media accounts with fans, telling them that everything was indeed fine.

“been writing lots. time to get a little rest and enjoy time with family. hope you are happy, wherever you are,” Alex and Sierra wrote on Twitter.

Later, the musicians headed to Instagram, getting even more real with their fans on what’s happening. Check it out below:

hi friends. we've spent some time away from social media, not to take a step back from you guys, who we love, or from music, but to take a step back from feeling like our relationship is a job. from feeling like we needed to take and share photos of ourselves happy and doing things together just to prove something. we began our journey as "alex & sierra" as a potential career first and foremost because we love making music together. we understand that one of the repercussions of being on a reality show is that many people are more invested in our personal lives than they are in the art that we pour our hearts into creating… but it's been a few years since we subjected ourselves to that level of scrutiny, so thank you to those who have grown with us and stayed to appreciate our music and not ONLY cause you "ship us". even though that's sweet too. hoping you are well. always, a&s. photo from a good day with our friends.
