The Thinker Might Be 'The Flash' Season 4's Main Villain

We have months until the return of The Flash on the CW…however, the main villain may have just been confirmed!

Via TVLine, the new villain for Team Flash might just be The Thinker.

Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg revealed that the next villain wouldn’t be a speedster at all, but in fact someone entirely different; and The Thinker, real name Clifford DeVoe, is as different as they come.

In the season finale, Savitar was overheard saying, while surveying S.T.A.R. Labs, “This is where we came up with the cerebral inhibitor… to use against DeVoe” and added later when asked about who DeVoe was: “You haven’t gotten there yet.”

In the comics, Clifford Devoe was Keystone City’s district attorney, and after losing a high-profile case against mob boss Hunk Norvock, he decided he was on the wrong side. He teamed up with Norvock and spent years doing nothing but researching and planning crimes.
