Shawn Mendes is Feeling Homesick While Away On His 'Illuminate' Tour

Shawn Mendes has been away from home for eight weeks and he’s definitely ready to get back on Canadian soil.

The 18-year-old “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” singer has been having an amazing time on tour connecting with his fans (he even stopped to take selfies with some of them outside of his hotel in Dublin!)

Still, eight weeks is a long time, and the Canadian singer is more than ready to get back to his roots.

“Longest ive ever been away from home.. almost 8 weeks now!” he tweeted Tuesday afternoon. “Ive had the most unreal time in Europe but i definitely can’t wait for Canada.”

It’s totally understandable; eight weeks is a long time to be away from home!
