Dylan Minnette Talks His Hopes For Clay in '13 Reasons Why' Season 2

Dylan Minnette is more than ready for more 13 Reasons Why.

The actor, who plays Clay, the recipient of Hannah’s 13 tapes, opened up about what he hopes for his character in the second season.

“I would like to know that Clay is healthy and away from his anxiety issues,” he reveals, adding, “I think if Clay were to fully separate from his anxiety that would be a little surprising because I don’t think it’s just easy to get rid of.”

Dylan is sure that his anxiety will be something the show will touch on.


“I’m sure Clay’s anxiety will come back into play, and I’m interested to see if he can actually escape the memory of Hannah or if he’ll still be seeing her or not.”

Dylan also talked about the discussions and criticism of the series, something he knew that was going to come.

“I thought it was going to come even quicker because I don’t think people are used for this being addressed to their faces like this, so full on…I knew it was going to come, and I think a lot of it has been for the better because it’s only started more conversations.”

13 Reasons Why season two will be coming out in 2018.
