Sabrina Carpenter Accidentally Made Her Collab With The Vamps Explicit

Just last month, Sabrina Carpenter debuted a new collaboration with The Vamps and DJ Mike Perry, called “Hands”.

We all know it’s pretty great song, what we all didn’t know about it was that Sabrina accidentally made it “explicit”.

Sabrina told the story to tmrw magazine, claiming that nobody sent her the lyrics, and that she was confident in her lines from the demo.

However, her lyric of “leave your sh** at the door” was actually supposed to be “shirt”!

Right on the day of the release, James McVey told her about the flub: “I was like, “Why would it be leave your shirt at the door?” and he was like, “Well, in the first verse it goes, ‘drop that dress to the floor’, so he would say ‘leave your shirt at the door’.”

She adds, “I was like why would you wait until the day that the song comes out to tell me? I keep laughing now about it. I’ll never hear it the same way.”

Sabrina still loves the song though: “It’s such a fun song. It’s one of those songs where you don’t realise it’s over, it can keep playing on repeat and I think that’s how the best songs are.”
