Lauren Jauregui Loves That Her Coming Out Helped Others To Accept Themselves

Lauren Jauregui came out as bisexual late last year in a politically charged essay that was so inspiring.

That letter was that inspiring and empowering that many of her fans to truly accept themselves.

“It’s hard to accept yourself when you live in a world where nobody is like you,” Lauren revealed in an interview. “Or you feel like nobody is like you because there’s no representation.

She adds, “For me, coming into my own and being comfortable with myself really changed me as a person. And made me more confident and vibrant.”

It’s had such a powerful and positive effect on everyone.

“A bunch of my fans have come up to me and said, ‘because of you and because you came out, I have finally begun to accept myself’,” Lauren continues. “That is infinitely incredible for me. I didn’t expect to get to the point where I would own up to it within myself.”
