'Pretty Little Liars' Stars Shay Mitchell & Sasha Pieterse Weigh In on All Those Twin Theories

If you read the Pretty Little Liars book, you know that Alison had a twin sister named Courtney…however, so far, Alison doesn’t have a twin at all in the show.

Mary Drake and Jessica DiLaurentis were twins…and some think that Spencer Hastings might have a twin too.

What do the stars think of the twin theories going on around the show?

“I think everybody can have a theory, but I mean, we haven’t really stayed true to anything, whether it be in the book or whatever,” Shay Mitchell shared.

She recommends to “always have your own theories! I love hearing them, but you’ll have to wait and see.” Hmmm…

Sasha Pieterse added, “I think everyone has always wanted the twin theory because of the books, but Marlene [King] always has tricks up her sleeve, so I think it turned out really well and I think the fans are going to love it regardless.”

So, twins, no twins? Maybe Emison baby twins?

We’ll have to wait and see!
