In Cars 3, you’ll meet Smokey (the former Piston Cup team owner who was on the Fabulous Hudson Hornet’s team back in the ’50s); Junior “Midnight” Moon (who got his start running homemade “fuel” through the wooded back roads with only the moon to light the way); and Louise “Barnstormer” Nash (i.e. the “First Lady of Racing”, who had to steal her racing number to compete in her first race).

There’s also River Scott, who never stop trying and his will made him a trailblazer in the Piston Cup�racking up seven circuit wins in the early ’50s.
