The Vamps Dish On New Album 'Night & Day' Ahead of Release

The Vamps are just a few weeks away from dropping their new album, Night & Day.

“People are saying we’ve got a theme going about the night thing, but it’s not the case. I don’t think we actually intended to do that,” bassist Connor Ball shared in a new interview.

While there’s no theme at all, there is a difference in the subject matter.

“When you hear it, it talks about drinking and emotional material like that,” he adds. “It’s just a natural progression really. We’re just grown as people really. I don’t think we’re trying to be a certain way, it just happened.”

Drummer Tristan Evans also talked about how fans get music these days, which is instantly.

“People release albums like once every year now,” he says. “Ours are a little more delayed but I think we do take time and they are right.”

“Especially now when people are releasing stuff all the time and consumers want something instant and quick,” Brad Simpson adds.

“People want music in the same vein as the way they are consuming Facebook videos or anything else. They want it quickly because they are so tuned into it so I’ll think we’ll try and release more material as and when it’s written.”
