Sabrina Carpenter is Happy 'Girl Meets World' Covered Serious Topics

Sabrina Carpenter is reflecting on the legacy her show Girl Meets World left.

The 18-year-old singer/actress is happy the short-lived Disney Channel series covered real-life topics that affects teens.

I grew up with the shows that were like Boy Meets World and the ones that had those values,” Sab told TeenVogue.com. “I’m not saying Boy Meets World because it’s Girl Meets World, but Boy Meets World had a lot of great values. So it was nice for us to be able to put that back into family television and be able to cover topics that [addressed] bullying and autism and religion, and feminism.”

“We covered so many incredible topics on the show that I think that taught me to be in love with everything that you do and be passionate about everything you do and make what you do important to you, because then it will surely be important to other people,” she added.
