'Andi Mack's Joshua Rush Clears Up Rumors About Andi Getting a New Love Interest For Season Two

Andi Mack and Jonah Beck are just meant to be on Andi Mack, yes? Yes.

However, over the weekend fans thought that she might be getting a brand new love interest after the entire cast started to follow young actor Eli Luke on Instagram — but it turns out, he’s just a really good friend!

Joshua Rush, who plays Cyrus on the show, set the record straight on Monday morning (July 24) about Eli.

“He’s a friend of ours and we both tagged him so he didn’t want to deal with a million follow requests,” he tweeted after picking up on the fans speculation.

But Joshua did reveal that Eli had been on the show before: “That being said he has already been on the show! He did background in Episode 11. Check the scene where we’re walking in slow-mo.”
