Justin Bieber Will Not Face Criminal Charges for Car Accident

Justin Bieber made his way back to The City Church on Wednesday (August 2) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

One week earlier, the “Despacito” singer accidentally ran into photographer Maurice Lamont with his truck after attending a service at the same church.

This time, Justin was joined by his old friend and mentor Pastor Judah Smith as well as police officers and his security team.

Justin will not be facing criminal charges for the incident, TMZ reports.

Law enforcement is reportedly not recommending charges as they believe Justin had no intent to hit Maurice, who went to the hospital with a leg injury.

Maurice was allegedly in the wrong for standing in the street but will not be charged either because no police officer was there to witness the minor crime.

Justin may still face a civil lawsuit, though he did have the right of way, was blinded by camera flashes, and Maurice should not have been standing in the street.
