KJ Apa Thought He Would've Been Fired From 'Riverdale' If His Red Hair Didn't Look Good

KJ Apa runs his hands through his freshly dyed hair inside the salon in Vancouver, Canada this week.

The Riverdale star joined co-star Camila Mendes for a hair appointment — something he has to do every two weeks to keep up his red locks.

“I was nervous,” KJ admits in a recent interview with Glamour UK. “I was nervous because I wasn’t really sure about how I would look with red hair.”

In fact, he was so nervous that he almost thought the show would recast him because of it.

“I thought I was going to look like a complete idiot and thought they were going to recast me if I did,” KJ says.

He definitely doesn’t look like an idiot!
