Ally Brooke Shares That Fifth Harmony Wrote Certain Songs In Pairs For Upcoming Album

Ally Brooke is out promoting Fifth Harmony‘s upcoming self-titled album and dished a ton about the record during her visit to On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

“We co-wrote more than half of this album,” Brooke shared of her bandmates

“We put our blood, sweat and tears in to this. You get to hear us as you’ve never heard us before,” Ally says, adding that she, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui co-wrote more than half the album.

Ally also revealed that for the 10 tracks, the quartet teamed up in pairs to write them.

“It’s cool because for this record we were able to be in pairs for the most part to write the songs,” she says. “For example, Normani and I would go in to [the studio] and that’s how we created ‘Messy’ so you kind of have that extra personal attachment when it’s coming from you.”

Fifth Harmony‘s album is out on August 25th.
