Madelaine Petsch Had Her First 'Overwhelming' Fan Experience

Madelaine Petsch and the cast of Riverdale are starting to become household names now and that comes with a wealth of fans — some crazy, some not so much.

However, the Cheryl Blossom actress revealed to ET that she’s also went through her first crazy and overwhelming fan encounter, right after they wrapped on season one.

“My first [encounter] was so overwhelming,” she says. “I was at the Grove, it was right after we got back from filming, and a fan yelled my name, actually ‘Cheryl Blossom’ at the top of her lungs, but it didn’t really register.”

Madelaine adds, “[She] starts running, like a soldier, running at me, and then jumps on me. I was so stressed out.”
