'Stranger Things' Will Probably Be a 'Four Season Thing,' Director Reveals

Stranger Things has officially been renewed for a third season — but don’t get too comfortable with the already-beloved Netflix original.

While we knew the show had a set ending, we didn’t realize just how soon it was!

“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” director and writer Ross Duffer told Vulture in a new interview. “We just have to keep adjusting the story.”

After all, there’s only so much this group of strong, unlucky kids can be put through.

“They’re going to have to get the f-k out of this town,” Ross joked. “It’s ridiculous!”

Season 2 premieres on Netflix on October 27. We, for one, cannot wait.
